Frank from Thirtynine10 Fine Wine Merchants will be donating the Prosecco and will be on hand to answer any the questions you may have about wine. Any profit from the bar will be donated to the charity.
Ann Kelly, Learn Digital Photo will be exhibiting her work around the venue and during the evening will be giving a talk on, “getting the best out of your smartphone”. She will be using an iPhone for this demonstration, however, the learning and Apps demonstrated can be applied to any smart camera phone.
Ann will be sharing amazing tips and tricks on how to use your camera phone and showing you her favourite camera apps to enhance those images for sharing on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter.
Harry-Krish Mootoosamy, father, husband, son, brother and friend to many lived most of his short but full life locally. A week after celebrating his 39th Birthday, Harry-Krish was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. He fought the disease for 7 long and tough months and left his 3 children, the eldest being 5 years old, a young wife and a large community of devastated family and friends. This evening is being held in Harry-Krish's memory to support the passions of his life - his young children and music. Harry-Krish was a lover of music, singing in band with his St Columba's and Loretto school friends even during his battle.
His family has carefully chosen Teens Unite Fighting Cancer and will work them with the proceeds from the evening to bring music to teenagers.
Teens Unite Fighting Cancer is a Hertfordshire based charity, set up ten years ago, providing the on-going emotional and social support that studies and experts agree is desperately needed for teenagers. Teens Unite is the only charity in the U.K. that provides help for teens at this time, uniting young people and rebuilding lives from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. The charity is currently organising a 1day music project and proceeds from this evening will go towards funding this day, giving the teenagers an escape from their daily battle against a devastating illness.
Do join us for what promises to be an informal, engaging evening of food, drink and photography in support of a very worthy cause.
