Intermediate Digital Photography Courses
Bracketing and HDR
This course is a follow on from the Beginners Digital Photography course. This is a hands-on course for my continuing students to use their cameras to explore higher level digital photographic techniques.
The course will include:
A project on a theme of your choice or to study in depth a famous photographer.
Auto Bracketing, Using EV, HDR,
Metering Modes interpreting Historgrams
Why shoot Black and White? -post production techniques for BW.
Macro and Still Life photography
ND and polarising filters for digital photography
What are RAW files? Pros and cons
A trip to a London gallery and Portrait session
What are the course outcomes?
To increase and broaden knowledge of digital photography, to explore creative imaging making techniques and to create professional looking images.
How will you be assessed?
On-going assessment and feedback is given on images produced on the course and then uploaded to a specially created group for the course on Flickr website and a private STUDYSPACE area on this website to extend and enhance the programme. Sumative assessment is given on the presentation of your photographic project.
